At The Pediatric Place in Burton, Michigan, we are dedicated to helping children grow, thrive, and enjoy healthier lives. Led by board-certified pediatrician Sweety Srivastava, MD, our practice combines more than 20 years of experience with compassionate, patient-centered care for children and their families.
We provide comprehensive pediatric services, including newborn care, routine wellness visits and physicals, childhood immunizations, urgent visits, prenatal consultations for expectant parents, sports physicals, and pediatric nephrology consultations. Whether a family is welcoming a newborn, preparing for a new sports season, managing an illness, or seeking guidance for a kidney-related concern, our team strives to offer thoughtful, individualized support.

Routine Physicals for Children & Newborn Care

At The Pediatric Place, we provide routine physicals and compassionate care for children from birth through adolescence. Dr. Sweety Srivastava and her staff are committed to being accessible, answering parents’ questions, addressing concerns, and providing guidance at every stage of a child’s growth.

Same Day Sick Visit

Children can sometimes need urgent medical attention. We can provide same day appointments for common childhood illnesses, minor injuries, fever, infections, and other health concerns. Dr. Sweety Srivastava focuses on providing compassionate, child-friendly care to help children feel comfortable while ensuring parents receive clear guidance about their child’s health and treatment.

Prenatal Consultation

At The Pediatric Place, Dr. Sweety Srivastava offers prenatal consultations to help expectant parents feel prepared and supported before their baby arrives. She explains what families can expect after delivery, including the newborn examination, hospital care, feeding, sleep, screenings, immunizations, and the first pediatric office visit.

Nephrology Consults

Children with kidney and urinary concerns receive specialized care from Sweety Srivastava, MD, a board-certified pediatric nephrologist. Dr. Srivastava spent 10 years caring for children at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, where she gained extensive experience managing common and complex pediatric kidney conditions.

Dr. Sweety Srivastava is a board-certified pediatrician with over 20 years of experience. She earned her medical degree in Mumbai, India, and completed her pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
